Rugby League Lancaster have a fantastic working relationship with QAS which is a huge advantage for us. They are very happy with our on field performances, attitude to training and preparation, and they also have a great working relationship with the coaching staff in terms of feedback. This has enabled Lancaster to focus on the rugby league that they want to play on a regular basis. The new Lancaster CEO, Nick Bagnall has been a huge driving force behind the move to Lancaster and has been setting the wheels in motion for the club to reach the top levels. The biggest change has been the attention the coaching staff have paid to player development and the hard work put in by the boys in the forwards and backs to improve their game. It’s been a very exciting time for all the boys at Lancaster and they are enjoying it. Lancaster have a very promising future and are creating something really special. What makes it even better is that they have such a good relationship with the QAS people at the club. Dean Colling is Head Coach and has been at the club for 10 years. He came to Lancaster having previously been Head Coach of the Wigan Warriors. He started out as a player and has been involved in coaching at the highest levels of the game. He has a great passion and drive for the game and has been working hard to get the team playing at a high level. His goal is to have the club playing for top four next season. Alan Daimson is the Assistant Coach. He is having a brilliant career as a coach at the highest level of the game. He has been working in the USA for the past few years and is back home in England to coach at the highest level. Craig Stowers is our Strength and Conditioning Coach. Craig spent 4 years with Brisbane Broncos as an Assistant Strength Coach before being promoted to the Head Coach role with the Broncos. He then joined Canberra Raiders as Strength and Conditioning Coach. Tommy Curry is the Director of Football and has been instrumental in the club’s rapid growth. The club has grown in every way.
